Short story competition
Word limit 2,500 words, on the theme of Mysterious Strangers and Uninvited Guests, with a first prize of £100, (other prizes to be decided). The winner and runners up will be asked to read their work at the presentation on
Oct 28th in Market Drayton Library.
£3.00 to enter per submission.
Closing date September 25th
Entries must be typed. No electronic submissions, old school hard copy only. Do not put your name on the story, just the title and page numbers. You may staple or clip pages together. Please, no gratuitous or extreme violent or sexual material. We are looking for original, well-written stories with a twist. Send your story with a completed entry form and a cheque made payable to Drayton Writers to:
The Treasurer, Drayton Writers’ Group c/o Market Drayton Library
You may also hand your story into the Library.
